How it works
Real settings, real conversations โ wherever you think clearest.
Walk & talk
Some of the clearest thinking happens moving โ along the Danforth, or through your own neighborhood.
Coffee shop, your garage, the beach.
Anywhere in the East End you feel like yourself is where we'll meet. Weather willing.
By phone, some weeks.
Not every week allows getting out. A phone call still counts as showing up.
Neighborhoods
- Riverdale
- Leslieville
- East York
- The Beaches
Less about the commute, more about finding a place you're relaxed enough to do real work.
The support to do the work
What we do together
A physiotherapist can give you the right exercises. A therapist can help you see what needs to change. Doing it โ day after day, when life gets in the way โ is a different thing. That's the work we do together.
First, we get clear: what's stuck, and what you want instead. Not a worksheet โ a plan built around your real schedule, your real resources, what's realistic right now. Then we work it. Session by session, I keep you accountable. I adjust the plan when life doesn't cooperate. I keep you moving when motivation doesn't show up on its own.
You leave with more than a good conversation. You leave with a plan โ and someone in your corner making sure it doesn't sit in a notebook.
Where we'll meet
A real alternative to another video call.
A walk along the Danforth. Coffee at your local spot. Your garage, if that's where you think clearest. The beach, weather willing. However you connect best, I'll meet you there โ relaxed setting, full attention.
Why in person
The case for showing up.
Twenty years ago, people spent close to 45 minutes a day with each other, in person. Today it's closer to 35. That's the trend this work is built against.
The research on this is fairly consistent: time on a screen doesn't hurt much when it's added to time with people. It's when it replaces that time that things start to slip โ including something as basic as knowing your own neighbors, which fewer people do now than a decade ago. That's part of why this practice happens in person, in the neighborhood, instead of over another video call.
What sessions can look like
A few examples.
Composite examples, not real sessions โ but close to how the work actually goes.
One-off session โ a performer
A performer came in before opening night with racing thoughts, wanting a clear head. The real block wasn't skill โ it was old expectations he was still trying to meet. He left with a short practice to run backstage.
Three sessions โ retiring after thirty years
A client was retiring after thirty years and wanted a plan for his week without it. What was in the way: the idea that one big new purpose had to replace his job. Twenty-minute check-ins kept him on track between sessions. He left with a week built around several smaller commitments instead of one big one.
Custom day-long session โ laid off, starting over
A client came in after a layoff, wanting real direction instead of the first job that would take him. Panic was crowding out the options he actually wanted. He left with a short list to test, and a first step for each.
Custom day-long session โ rebuilding after divorce
A client wanted to reconnect with community after his divorce โ family life no longer structured his days. What was in the way: waiting to be invited instead of reaching out. He left with names to contact, and a plan for when.
20-minute check-in โ staying on track
A client uses short check-ins to keep a practice from sliding โ one goal, one obstacle at a time. We name what's in the way that week and adjust. Not a deep dive. A regular tune-up.
Working together
Simple, upfront pricing.
One-on-one session
A single 60-minute session โ good for a first conversation or an as-needed check-in.
3-session package
For working through one clear transition or decision, with continuity between sessions.
20-minute progress check-in and encouragement
A quick in-person or phone check-in between longer sessions โ a coffee, a few minutes on the walk to work, to keep momentum going.
๐งญ Custom sessions
Career pivots, big decisions, or something that doesn't fit a standard format โ let's build a plan around what you actually need.
Get in touch

About Jason
Twenty-five years leading people through change.
Twenty-five years producing some of the country's biggest public moments โ Olympic and Pan Am torch relays, Rogers Hometown Hockey โ taught me how to keep people steady when everything around them is moving fast. Twenty years of Buddhist practice and Shambhala Warrior Training taught me how to stay grounded doing it. Training in Reiki and reflexology added a quieter skill: paying close attention. I'm a Master Certified Professional Coach through the Certified Life Coach Institute, and every conversation here is confidential and judgment-free.
Some of what shapes this work has been personal. I'm neurodivergent, and navigating a neurotypical world hasn't always been easy โ part of why this practice is built around people showing up exactly as they are.
"Connection to people is key to evolving in a good way. I look forward to meeting you, hearing where you want to go, and helping you figure out how to get there โ at a pace that's right for you."
